Athletics has always been my passion since I was a child. My father would take me to every high school sporting event we could make it to. From water boy to bat boy, anyway I could be involved in the game I was doing it. This passion spawned an athletic career at Delran High School playing multiple sports that eventually lead to college baseball at Kean University. Competing at a top-level DIII program for regional and national championships was a fantastic experience; achieving a national ranking of #1 in the country for the first time in program history. 


In my junior year of high school, I fell in love with training. I deeply enjoyed the process of hitting the weight room then working on my baseball skills. The component that I reflect on the most, is that all that time I spent in the weight room, I was not training properly! I was lifting like a bodybuilder, neglecting mobility and explosive training, which lead to two career-ending injuries.


Enter becoming an athletic performance coach. For the past four years, I have dedicated myself to the art of athletic performance, studying and learning from the best strength and conditioning coaches to take this information and apply it to my athletes. Learning from my mistakes and the misguided information I was given in my career, I want to ensure that every athlete has the opportunity to reach their full potential. With the correct programming, appropriate progressions, and commitment to succeed, every athlete can take their game to another level!


3 Things That Happen When You Meet Me

Goal Setting and Evaluation
Establish personal short-term and long-term athletic goals. Setting weight room and gameplay goals will constantly have us wanting to improve and prevent complacency. Overall Athletic Movement & Strength Evaluation. This will allow us to determine what aspects of your athleticism need to be developed and what components need to be fine tuned or maintained.
Individualized Programming and Laying the Foundation
After assessing your goals and evaluation, create a program that will enhance YOUR athletic needs. Breakdown of individualized programming (the why’s and how’s). It’s extremely important that athletes understand the progressions. Starting with your basic athletic posture, sprinting mechanics, to Olympic lifts, I will always make sure the appropriate foundation of mechanics and understanding are implemented.
Get After It and Have Some Fun!
Come into the facility with the mindset that you are here to get better every day. I will come in with a purpose and if we try our best to consistently match that energy, we are bound for success. Athletics and training can be intense. Never lose sight that when you break it down, sports are just GAMES! Enjoy the process of becoming a better athlete. I love what I do, and I want my clients and athletes to share that same passion.
