Hey, I'm Eric Teesdale

 

 

Athletics and athletic training have been a huge part of my life since a young age. Both have taught me countless lessons and helped develop me into the person that I am today. My youth sporting experience revolved around baseball, soccer, and basketball. I was fortunate enough to have a great personal driving team (parents) that also transported me to athletic training facilities. Once introduced, the competitiveness that I had developed in sports quickly translated to the passion of challenging my mind and body within training. Athletic training improved my understanding of commitment, perseverance, and leadership. Doing so, helped put me in positions of leadership among all of my sport teams, and further my baseball career to the collegiate level (TCNJ). Over that time, I continued my passion of athletic-based training with the exposure of various programs and training methods.


At the conclusion of my student-athlete experience in 2016, and the culmination of roughly 10 years of athletic training, I knew that I wanted to lead others and share my passion within this space. Over the last seven years, I have coached various high school teams and trained numerous youth, high school, and collegiate athletes, and continued my growth and understanding in athletic training. I am currently the Varsity Baseball Coach and an Assistant Soccer Coach at Cinnaminson High School. In my coaching career, I have established a strong foundation for athletic team training and individual training. Seeing the hard work and dedication that my teams, and individual athletes, utilize to achieve new levels of success is the ultimate reward.

Connecting On Our Goals
Before we begin actively training, we need to establish what goals/outcomes that we are going to push towards as a team. Getting to know one another and explaining the WHY behind our training is just as important as the training itself.
Establishing Foundations and Develop A Plan
Once we establish our goals, we will begin to work on the fundamentals that will take us there. Whether that is teaching training techniques and form, or assessing your current abilities, we will need to understand our beginning line. After the preparations are accounted for, we will put together our plan of attack. The plan will be geared toward our overall goals that we are targeting. Doing so will also provide us with clarity on the expectations moving forward.
Personalization and Sustainability
As we put our plan in motion, we will have the flexibility to find what works best for us as a team. Everyone responds to training and certain exercises differently, so it is important for us to adapt what is needed to reach our goals. Most importantly, we will work together to find what works best for sustaining our training success. After all, being able to stay consistent, determined, and enjoying your time training is the key to accomplishing our goals.
