I’ve always been into fitness and nutrition since I was in high school - but it was always for the *wrong* reasons or in an *unhealthy* way. It was ALWAYS about losing weight and being smaller no matter what it took - whether that meant starving myself, working out every day for hours or doing endless cardio. 


After YEARS and YEARS of living like this it got to a point where I realized this was no longer sustainable, physically and mentally. At that point I discovered powerlifting + strength training and that’s when everything truly changed. I no longer was so concerned about changing my body and instead was more focused on what my body was capable of and my performance in my workouts. And I knew that in order to perform my best during my workouts, I needed to fuel my body properly. 


And as a result I DID see more changes in my body than ever. I DID get stronger than ever. But all of that was just an added bonus to how good I felt and how much I enjoyed training again. 


Now, as a mom of 3 + twin mom, not only do I feel more comfortable + confident in my body than I ever have, but I’m able to be a good example for my kids - showing them what a true healthy relationship with food, exercise + my body looks like and I’ve helped SO many other women get to this same place too.
